Concept
World Cafe "Urban Art as Educational Tool" is an expert conference focusing on educational aspect of art.
In the calm cafeteria setting, the audience will have a chance to talk to artists, organisations involved in Urban Art and teachers who get involved into Urban Art workshops at their schools. What young people can learn with urban art? is urban art only vandalism? how to use that hobby of young people for benefit of their development?
If you are teacher and educator interested to use Urban Art as tool with your young people, you will have a chance to get inspiration for new projects while:
- talking to the artists about specific methods they use while working with young people on development of their competences
- discussing with other teachers what kid of benefits for their work with young people they get through combining pedagogy and art
- seeing what kind of innovative projects were developed by NGOs that work with the topics of creativity, youth work
